What's new...

First off and most exciting... WE GOT THE HOUSE. yay! We went to KY this last weekend and went to see it and sitting in front is a lovely "SOLD" sign. We were both very happy to see that and kind of had a reality check that we are actually moving into a house. weird.

Well, as I was saying, we were in KY this past weekend. We were there to get Curt all set up in the hotel he will be staying in for several weeks. But this is not just any hotel (if you're feeling bad for him). It's really more of an apartment. He's got a full out kitchen (stove, oven, everything), a king size bed, a huge flat screen tv, couches, and of course a bathroom. So he gets all of that, we don't pay for a bit of it, and they clean it for you! He doesn't have to do any laundry besides his own clothes, no cleaning, no nothing. I call that pretty high living! ha!

Poor little me is still in Utah finishing up student teaching. And I am counting down the days. If you were curious, there are exactly 51 days left. I can do it! (at least that's what I keep telling myself)

I can't believe how fast life changes. I have had a really great time up here at USU, living close to both families, surrounded by members, and living the student life (even though you're poor, it's still pretty great). Kentucky will definitely be an adventure. We're excited, nervous, but grateful for the opportunity to have such a good job, especially when the economy is not at its best.

Well, I'm off to get some work done for school. I hope that everything is going just as well with you and your family!

pretty, except for the Kentucky part!
Curt is (still) not my favorite son-in-law anymore, but at least he gets one Christmas present so far.
