31 days left...

I just got home from dropping Curt off at the SLC airport. He came in Friday night for a quick stay and it was so needed! I only wish it hadn't flown by so quickly. I miss him already and I can't wait until Thanksgiving when I get to see him and my family again.

There's not a whole lot that is new. Student teaching is going well. It's getting down to crunch time with my portfolio. Even though the days seem long, the end is getting close and I still have a lot to do! I am enjoying the fourth grade class that I am in now, but I still miss my 3rd graders and the system that Mrs. Jackson had going on. She was a great example to me and I only hope I can be as good a classroom manager.

Curt is doing well. He's finally out of the hotel and tonight will be his first night in the new house. He's started the unpacking process, but it's hard without me. ha us women usually decide where things go. But anyways, he's unpacked most of the kitchen (a very important place) as well as our clothes (another important thing to unpack). But he's still got tons to do, not to mention installing blinds, lights, ceiling fans, etc... He's enjoying the job so far and feels like he is finally starting to get the hang of it. He is also finally getting a work laptop. He says that almost everyone there has one, so he was feeling a little left out ha. What he's happiest about though is that he's through all the closing mess with the house and now we can just pay the monthly bill - way easier than all the work that goes into closing that's for sure!

Well, I need to go get things ready for my week, but I hope that all is well with you and your family. We're excited to see many of you over the holidays.
